I decided to continue my blog regarding psychics and I was pleasantly surprised by the comments which were mostly favorable and showing interest.

I was told by the psychic in Texas last month that I had several auras around me. She said I should find someone who can "read" them.

I haven't located anyone yet but I think it would be interesting to hear what they have to say about the auras...

She also told me that people like to hug me because I give them a feeling of comfort. She asked if I thought I was a healer and I said I didn't think so. I do notice that I am more inclined to hug someone first now. I never liked to be hugged when I was younger but as I grew up; it became a source of comfort for me as well as the other person. She also asked if I ever hear my spirit guides talking to me. I told her I have heard my name called when I am alone but I didn't know what it was causing that. She said I need to answer when they call my name!

I have had a few experiences in my life that now I could see could be more than just "intuition.

When I was adjusting claims, occasionally I went out to see the client or to look at their damages. One afternoon, it was overcast and cool.

I went to a house to look at a damaged car. I saw the car at the curb and went to the house to let the owner know I was there. As soon as I knocked on the door, I had a bad feeling. When he finally opened the door, the interior of the house was very dark, there was loud music playing and he was dressed
in sloppy dirty sweat pants and a t-shirt. He invited me inside while he got his shoes. I declined and told him I would take pictures of his car. He asked me again to come into the house but I walked out to the curb and took the pictures. His car was a total loss and I already had the figures of its worth. I could have written him a check right then. He asked me to come into the house while I worked on the figures. I just couldn't go in so I told him I had to go back to my office and have the check typed up.

About 13 years ago when my mother was dying, I was visiting her every day at the hospital. She didn't have much to say and every day, she became less conscious of what was going on. One time she told me she was so tired of being in the hospital for months. I told her she had only been there for a week but I could tell that she was fading away. Finally, on Sunday, I decided I had to go to work and get all my files in order because my sisters were in town and I didn't want them to go to her alone. I spent 9 hours at my office and wrote memos on every file I had, paid all bills and payments I could and left a note telling my supervisor and the head secretary that I would not be in on Monday.

On my way home, I stopped at the hospital and went to visit my mother. When I walked in, I saw someone had left fresh flowers for her. She was just a tiny form in the bed and I felt like she was gone even though she was still breathing. I talked to her and told her it was alright to leave and that we would be fine even though we would always love her and miss her. A nurse came in and listened to me talk to my mother. When I had finished, the nurse wiped her eyes and said. "I don't know how you did that." I told her I had to - so my mother would be at peace. I went home.

Early the next morning, our phone rang and my doctor told me my mother was gone (he was her doctor too). I don't know if it was intuition or a premonition but I was there and told her it was alright to leave and she did a few hours later.

After her funeral, I had a panic attack or a mini break-down or something. I had this intense fear that a picture that was painted of my mother had to be destroyed. I had hated that picture ever since my mother had moved into our house a few months ago. A local person had painted it and it looked so evil and mean that I never could look at it when I was in her bedroom. I asked my family to burn it up immediately. Once that was done, I insisted my sister M and her husband had to go to a bank and have a guardianship paper drawn up naming someone to take their child if something should happen. I was absolutely terrified that something bad would happen if that paper wasn't notarized. Thankfully, they complied with my request and I felt much better then. Was that a premonition?

My sister M is really the one who seems to have some kind of special insight towards people and she has had some interesting little "ideas" pop into her head. She visited a psychic fair a couple of weeks ago and went in to see some palm readers and others. One of them asked her.."why aren't you doing readings for people, you have the gift." Then she said, "do you have a message for me?" M was so surprised, she couldn't focus and just said "no".

Grandma and Grandpa were visiting their kids overnight. When Grandpa
found a bottle of Viagra in his son's medicine cabinet, he wanted to try
one of the pills.

His son said, "I don't think you should take one, Dad, they're very
strong and very expensive."

"How much?" asked Grandpa.

"$10 a pill," answered the son.

"I don't care," said Grandpa, "I'd still like to try one, and before we
leave in the morning I'll put the money under the pillow."

The next morning, the son found $110 under the pillow.

He called Grandpa and said "I told you each pill was $10, not $110."

"I know," said Grandpa. "The hundred is from Grandma."
