Only a few more days before 2006 is over. I have to say the last few weeks of this year was not the happiest for our family with the loss of our dear SIL. However, we know she is in a better place and I choose to look for little reminders of her. There have been some things that I could easily interpret as signs of her saying HELLO.
Her husband found a brand new shiny 2006 penny at the airport right in the middle of the floor where anyone could have picked it up...yet HE was the one who found it. I personally found two pennies and a dime on the same day we were boarding for our cruise... We got at least 3 phone calls with no one on the line on a couple of days before her memorial and the day of her memorial service. And, this year, our Christmas tree lights blinked on Christmas Day which they have NEVER done before. I choose to think of them as little greetings from Carolyn.

Apple Computer reported today that it has developed computer chips that can store and play music inside women's breasts. This is considered to be a major breakthrough because women are always complaining about men staring at their breasts and not listening to them.

A motorcycle patrolman was rushed to the hospital with an inflamed appendix.
The doctors operated and advised him that all was well. However, the patrolman kept feeling something pulling at the hairs in his crotch. Worried that it might be a second surgery the doctors hadn't told him about, he finally got enough energy to pull his hospital gown up enough so he could look at what was making him so uncomfortable. Taped firmly across his pubic hair were three wide strips of adhesive tape, the kind that doesn't come off easily. Written in large black letters was the message " Get Well Soon! signed ..the nurse you gave a ticket to last week!"
